This is a unscrupolous hotel run by a dog eat dog management. They deceive and lie on hotel.com about the true condition of their hotel. Arrived to a hotel where there is mass scaffolding covering the hotel...piles of uncollected rubbish outside, a guests lift covered in cement and mud they also use as a lift for their construction works!!! A foul smell throughout hotel. Rude ignorant front desk staff...and worst of all they gave me a room where next door there was heavy drilling and hammer banging going on . I asked for a room change and the dim young male clerk helpfully told me there was noise throughout the hotels. I pointed out to him the noise was in room 62 not throughout the hotel. There were only works going on on the 6th floor and i was the only guest on the 6th floor the other rooms had construction going on. Hard staring and unblinking he truculently told me ' we dont have any other rooms'. My question..well do you think its fai4 to rent out this room when theres construction noise on the rest of the cloor was met by silence. I spent all the time out of the hotel during my overnight stay apart from sleep and thankfully it was quiet than but at 7.05am was woken by loud construction workers and more drilling and hammering noises. I recorded videos and put up photos. Now the crazy part....from 2014 to 2021 i stayed at this hotel 8 times for short overnight or 2 day stays ( good location,cheao and im a creature of habit if it aint broke dont fix it kind of thing)...it was different management than...there were renovation works going on in 2021 too...but like i say different people behind counter,different staff,different management..back than it was proffesional people running things ....obviously these new people working behind the counter and contracting there niw couldnt care less about old loyal customers like me. They refused a refund precisely because their grasping dog eat dog hands know the price of everything and the value of nothing. Avoid.Novotel and Ibis are next door if like me you need to be close to gare du midi statiion and a local mosque.

I must say it was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I walked in, I knew I had made a terrible mistake. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. The carpets were stained, the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, and there was a strange, unpleasant odor that lingered throughout my entire stay. The AC was not working. I left the hotel and asked for refund. I was told it will take up to 7 days and then declined to refund!!!!!!!

The hotel is within easy walk from the Euro Star Station. It is located on a row that has a lot of signage for other businesses. When we found it the entrance hall and reception were really clean and well laid out, reption staff were helpful and couritous. The room was clean, simply decorated and modern, the ensuite was clean and well equipped. However the breakfast was an extra cost and rather limited but it was enough, just had to find a snack around 11.00. It is a good walk to the center, old city but is an intresting one, easy to walk to the European Parliment Building for a free and easy look round.

This hotel is situated next to brussels zuid which is honestly ideal, also it is only 20 minute walk to the center. Although the surrounding area seems very dodgy and i would not walk alone at night round there the hotel itself is lovely. Highly efficient and very friendly women on reception, rooms of a good size and a powerful shower. Furthermore, breakfast was great lots of variation. Cannot reccomend enough!

Comfortable hotel 2 mins walk to Brussels Midi Station / Tram and so well located in terms of transport. Not as well located for tourists so more suited to day traveller or business traveller or someone needing somewhere whilst changing trains etc. A little basic but the receptionist mentioned they were doing a huge New refit next year and kindly asked for my input...the only thing I could think of was a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea (I’m British!) so otherwise it’s great, basic but good for the price and location and I look forward to seeing what it looks like next time when I come back
